Welcome to REDCOURT SKYE TERRIERS, NSW, Australia

The Skye Terrier originated centuries ago on the Isle of Skye,

which lies off the northeast coast of Scotland.

The Skye Terrier was used by farmers and fishermen to hunt otters,

badgers and foxes. A Skye is long, low and profusely coated.

They are about 10 inches at the shoulder and

are approximately twice as long as they are high.

A Skye is loyal and friendly with people he knows

but reserved and cautious with strangers.
